CHOCULA FTW
I still have a box of yummy mummy in my pantry. SCREW THE REST
Ive always perferred boo-berry myself
The food police made them cut the sugar in the cereal, then they stopped advertising the cereal on the cartoons. Then the FCC made the stations broadcast “educational” programming on Saturday morning which is why Saturday morning cartoons suck, or not on the air anymore at all. Thank you busy bodies for taking off my cartoons, ruining my childhood memories and destroying our own childrens saturday mornings. boooo!
@crystalpigzmoo im eating some boo berry right now! lol! i love boo berry :3
i’m having count chocula right now!!
@Fireproofretz we did have it in Canada, it was one of my favourites. I know we had it in Ontario in the mid to late 70s for sure.
LMFAO!!!! Oh lord
@sygo7g
You got that right! This is very funny compared to what is on TV now.
I remember these commericals. My brother and I used to argue which cereal was better when we were little. LOL
hm never had Frakenberry in Canada. Chocula tho.mmmm
the only thing good about the seventies was the music
this sygo7g guy is only 33, he sounds like some old fogey but he’s not that much older than me and he’s talking like he was a kid in the 60′s.
@jflameout It all came down to ethics I feel. The ethics of today seem far less relaxed as they were in my time.
@DJonX7 Just put yourself in my shoes and you’ll see what it was like.
@sygo7g I agree… lmao and i am a kid of today :
Count Chocula was the shit.
Anybody remember the other “Monster” cereal from General Mills? “Fruit Brute” was awesome!
It’s funny that back then you could basically say ‘Yeah, this shit is nothing but sugar’ and get away with it. Really says something.
Thank you for posting this!
red wuz here
@imlaughing2death and BooBerry was Peter Lorre…
Anyone else notice Frankenberry’s voice sounds like Boris Karloff (His real voice, not the one he used in Bride of Frankenstein), and Count Chocula’s is similar to Bela Lugosi’s?
@evcimatu If you look through the list of videos there is another version of this video with sound and explanations.
